MONITOR.AUTOMATIQUE
	It looks like a video clip - until the viewer realises he is looking at himself. He is in the middle of a bright colourful world of images, which he can - this is the second realisation- change by pressing a button. MONITOR.AUTOMATIQUE deal with the multifuncional area of surveillance technology and viusal dream production. For the last two years Timm Ringwaldt and Sven Gareis have created and doubled the digital promise of self discovery of virtual realities in Berlin´s club scene. Their installation `multi.moni-tor´ in `Maria am Ostbahnhof´ shows different videos on twelve video monitors, the videos are sound controlled and wander from monitor to monitor.
